Ever have some really good news and you're so excited about it you want to tell the person closest to you? You're all amped up and pumped up and tell them what the deal is and then it's like taking a pin to a balloon. Their energy is so dry, their words so draining, flipping your good news, finding the negative; their words become a pin, they poke and you slowly start to deflate. 

All your excitement, happiness, zest and fire slowly seeping out.

As much as you would like to share, sometimes you just gotta keep your good things to yourself and not allow anyone to lower your vibrations.

Truth be told... you knew how they were before you opened your mouth. You knew what would happen. You just have such a big heart you expected THIS TIME to be different.

Especially since they can be happy for everyone else.

Stop. See it for what it is.

Not everyone deserves front-row access to your joy.

Protect your peace. 

Celebrate in silence.

They don’t clap because it’s you.

Remember that. Move accordingly.

Some things bloom best in quiet.

Water your joy in private.

Let the fruit speak for itself.
